By accessing or using castizospain.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site is an independent directory of Spanish heritage towns (Conjuntos Históricos). Content is compiled from public sources including Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons, alongside original editorial notes. We are not affiliated with the Spanish government, any tourism board, or any of the towns featured.

The Site as a whole — including its selection, arrangement, editorial writing, design, page templates, and code — is our copyrighted work. You may:

• view, read, and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use;
• share links to the Site;
• quote short excerpts for non-commercial purposes (e.g. criticism, news reporting, scholarship) with attribution and a link back.

You may not:

• scrape, copy, or republish substantial portions of the Site without our prior written permission;
• use Site content to train machine-learning models without prior written permission;
• frame the Site or present it as your own;
• use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers other than standard search-engine crawlers) to access the Site at a rate that imposes an unreasonable load.

Photographs are licensed by their Wikimedia Commons contributors under the licences shown on each town page. Their licence terms apply to those images independently of these Terms.

Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only. Heritage status, opening hours, distances, transport options, prices and similar practical details change over time and may be inaccurate or out of date. AI-generated overviews may contain factual errors. Verify any detail that matters to you before relying on it — especially for travel planning.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Site — including but not limited to losses related to travel decisions, missed attractions, or reliance on information found here. If you are dissatisfied with the Site, your sole remedy is to stop using it.

The Site contains links and embedded content (maps, videos, photos) from third-party sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights or is materially inaccurate — in particular if you are the copyright holder of a photograph and want it removed — contact us at hello@castizospain.com with the page URL and the specific issue. We will review reasonable requests promptly.

We may change these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you a non-waivable right to sue elsewhere.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
